BONUS Top Ten Tuesdays: Internet Memes

This isn't a list of the most-popular or original memes, just the ones that make me happiest. This is a blog, what do you want from my life?

10. Scared Pug -- I have not seen so much unbridled fear on someone's face since the first screenings of Psycho. Our hearts go out to you, scared pug, and we really hope your little ticker is still going strong.
9. Captain Picard -- For some reason, putting a caption on Patrick Stewart when he's dressed as captain of the Enterprise produces internet-gold.

8. "I Like Turtles" -- This kid is amazing, sticking it to the media-machine like so many sabat shoes tossed into its inner-cogs, gumming up its conformist empire and freeing us poor viewers from enduring even one more patronizing on-screen interview.

7. Sad Pajama Cat -- Oh, G-d, I just want to give this little dude a saucer of milk and tell him it's all going to be o-- no, wait, he can't drink anything with that thing around his neck!!

6. "Bad Respawn" -- Us gamers all give knowing nods. Sidebar: wtf does the dude with the rocket launcher think he's accomplishing?

5. Leroy Jenkins -- I don't know who he is or why he values chicken so much, but dammit if he doesn't have an awe-inspiring war-cry.

4. Derp-dog -- cannot look without happily losing some IQ points.

3. Double-Rainbow Guy -- It was bad-enough when a self-proclaimed mountain-man found a positively rapturous "double-rainbow" outside his tent one morning and filmed it while devolving into a giggling nut-job, but then somebody went and autotuned it.

2. "Your Argument is Invalid" -- Generally due to some awesomely innane happenstance.

1. Demotivational Posters -- Self-explanatory, as are all the best memes.
